Women in Distributed Computing Systems (WiDCS) Event

Monday, 21 July 2025 17:00-18:30 @Radison Blu

Our event is dedicated to advancing the representation and inclusion of women and underrepresented groups in Computing Science, with a particular focus on Distributed Computing Systems. We strive to create a welcoming and empowering environment where individuals feel recognized, supported, and motivated to realize their fullest potential. Rooted in the strength of the community, we encourage mutual support, care, and collaboration. We aim to promote and highlight the transformative impact that women leaders bring to computing – their diverse perspectives drive innovation, their inclusive leadership styles foster stronger teams, and their pioneering work opens new research frontiers.
